Merry Stitchmas Day Retreat - Christmas Baubles Workshop with Lunch and Goodies!

Treat yourself this festive season to a fun-filled fibre day of learning how to create your own crochet Baubles using beautiful Bowfiddle yarn. Sophie from Forest and Dot will guide you step by step through the process of making your own crochet baubles. You will get to use beautiful locally dyed wool to create your baubles from local yarn dyer - Louise from Bowfiddle yarns. We will have a selection of Christmassy colours on hand for you to choose from to create your baubles. A rather special handmade Christmas decoration for your tree or perfect gift for a loved one this Christmas! Louise will also have a range of yarns and accessories to purchase so you can browse, squish and shop her stunning range on the day. A great chance to fit in some pressie shopping! 

Enjoy a delicious lunch of a festive themed soup and sandwiches accompanied by a hot drink and cake to keep us fuelled for all of our crafting! You’ll go away with your finished baubles plus a festive goodie bag! This event is also a great chance to meet other likeminded crafters, get together with a friend before the Christmas mayhem starts and give yourself that much needed mindful time to create something beautiful! 

Saturday 7th November from 10:30-4pm at The Royal Oak, Cullen

If you're a knitter, don’t worry you can still join! 50g of Bowfiddle yarns is included so feel free to bring your preferred pattern along or we will have some books for you to flick through. Plus plenty of spare baubles. 

The workshop is suitable for those who can crochet the basics like a granny square and you will get full tuition step by step through the process. If your a knitter I can also assist on many techniques etc but please bring your pattern of choice.

The workshop includes yarn to make 2 baubles per person, hook, pattern, baubles, goodie bag, soup and sandwich lunch plus one hot drink and a cake. 

Additional food and drinks can be purchased on the day up at the bar, please refrain from bringing your own food and drinks in as requested by the venue.
