Have you learnt the basics of crochet and wondering where to go next? If you can Crochet a granny square and are are looking to start off on lots of new exciting crochet projects then look no further! I have come up with a series of Crochet Next step sessions to help further your skills, its the perfect next step for you in your crochet journey!
The next steps course will run once monthly allowing you to learn new skills, go away and practise and then further your skills by attending the next workshop date. You can sign up as a one off or come monthly. I have quite a few regular students so spaces are limited. The next steps course is a great way to meet other likeminded crocheters and join the Forest and dot Crochet community!
The workshop includes a delicious soup and sandwich lunch provided by the Royal Oak Hotel, Cullen.
- The workshop will focus on different techniques and skills and you will have access to content sheets that assist each session.
- You will be able to select a project that you would like to work on and I will help assist you with this project, I will work with all participants individually for this part of the session.
What will we cover in the workshop
Increasing and decreasing, Pattern reading, Learning new stitches, working in rows, amigurumi and many more techniques.
Choose a project you would like to make, I will give you one to one guidance on this and help you with this project.
I will tailor each session specifically so do feel free to drop me some input of specific techniques you would like to see.
Order of the day:
Arrive for 10am and settle in, we will then work on the techniques and skills up until lunch time, at around 12 we will stop for a soup and sandwich lunch. After lunch we will then work on your chosen project and I will provide guidance and support individually. This is a great chance to get some one to one tutoring from me to help you on areas that you have found tricky. We will then meet in a months time so feel free to join again.

Materials are included but please bring along your own project to work on to get guidance on this. Feel free to bring along your own hooks etc. plus a soup and sandwich lunch.

A soup and sandwich lunch is included in the ticket fee. Please notify me of any dietary requirements upon booking. You may purchase food and drinks on the day but this must be paid direct to the venue on the day. Please do not bring your own food and drinks. The course is for one day only and not over set dates.
* An email will be sent out to you around 1 week before the event to confirm details of the event. Workshop spaces are non refundable.
*Please note workshops are subject to run according to a certain number of bookings if these bookings are not met then the workshops will be cancelled on a 5 day notice. You will either get to transfer onto a new date or a refund will be given however no refunds can be given if you cancel less than 7 days before.
* Adverse weather notice - due to the nature of adverse weather like snow or flooding with this situation being out of my control I cannot offer refunds if you or I need to cancel due to weather. I can only transfer your place onto a future date. If I need to cancel due to weather then I will of course reschedule the event and allow you a place on another available workshop or have credit in my web shop. Thank you for your understanding.
